Just wanted to address the number one question that I get often…

Q: Can you make this bow/necklace/tutu cheaper??? (while attaching a picture from another boutique)

A: In short – NO!

You may send me a link to a picture of something that you like or are looking for that you don’t currently see on my facebook page/website/zibbet store… but I will NOT try to duplicate it cheaper than the originator. That is just flat out wrong.

What I will do is attempt to create something similar but for my price. If it is cheaper, then good, if not, I’m sorry.

Handmade items take time and some people forget then when they are ordering or buying. You are not buying something off the rack that is made in a factory and is mass produced. Every bow is made to order. I do at times have some items that are ready-to-ship… but most of my orders are custom and made when your order is placed. I try to keep my prices affordable for anyone on any budget while at the same time making enough money to pay myself. This is my business and my job.

I am sure that other boutiques, if they are honest and legit, will tell you the same thing… that undercuts our hard work when you blatantly try to have someone “copy” what we have spent our time creating just to save a few bucks.

With that said, I do welcome and ideas if you know what you are looking for but don’t see it pictured on any of my sites, send me the link to it in an email and like I said, I will try to do something similar, but will NOT flat out copy it! If you want it bad enough, then please buy from the source.

I’m sorry if I have offended anyone by posting this, but I have gotten numerous emails from several different people asking about this. I just want to address it and let you know why I can’t do what you are asking.

I hope that everyone is enjoying their holiday today! I am – I’m very busy! :)

I am just getting over being sick with something so I am making up for it now by working on a lot of things. I was busy taking pics over the weekend of some new items that I am going to be posting later today (hopefully) and also will be posting some finished orders that I took pics of but never edited to post. Sorry about that.

Like I stated on my FB page, I had planned on doing a big thing for when I reached 400 fans and then I passed that so quick and then 500 came and went… so I gave the 400th fan a gift certificate and am trying to get to the 500th fan. If I don’t hear anything from her today I will move on to the next person after her. I am working on doing a big celebration – just not sure when. I didn’t think I would grow this fast! :) So THANK YOU!!!!

Regarding copyright issues:

I will NO longer be carrying certain cap images... mainly the sports teams for college and NFL teams. I will be able to make some for your teams but I can NO longer offer cap images with the helmet and logo or just the logo. If you were wanting some of these, please contact me and let me know which team and I will work on something for you. I am starting to roll out the new sports images so you can start to look at those. I am sorry for any inconvenience this causes.

Just wanted to let you all know that these posts are scheduled to post every morning (when I have posted) at 8am! So, just wanted you to know that if you see it post, it does not mean that I am always online.

Also, I have added a blog tab to my page on the left… if you click on that, there is a button where you can click to follow my blog as well. Hope to see all of you following me soon.

Another thing, I have gotten a lot of requests about the feather extensions – I am sorry, but I do not carry those. I do not currently have a supplier for them and you have to be a licensed cosmetologist to put them in – according to state law. So, with that said, maybe you can try your local salon for those. I know that Blown Away Salon in Blythewood carries them and puts them in for you. Not sure on the price though. Sorry again!

I do want to remind you to be checking the customer orders page when you order something. I started with new orders as everything else has been shipped or pending pick up/delivery. So, if you are still expecting something from me, please, let me know. Thanks!

It's that time again... My new price list is due to come out any day now.

A couple of things that I am going to start is a VIP Club. This is for all of my local customers. If you are local, you will have the choice of certain services. One of which will be color matching by appointment... I will come to your house with my color chart regularly once every season (or when you need) to match ribbon to your child's outfits.

Also, Bow of the Month club... you sign up and pay for however many months you would like to participate and you will get a bow for every month. It will be in the theme of the holiday that will be in each month. When it is your child's birthday they will get a bow for their birthday. You get to choose the style(s).

Sorry that I have been MIA for a while from here. Been going through a major personal struggle and trying to work out the details (still in progress) with my FB page and my zibbet store and my website. I really need someone that can do all of that for me. Just because I know how to do it, doesn't mean that I have to.

Well, I am excited... I just reached my 300th like yesterday. That person is getting a 30% OFF Gift Certificate. I am really happy with the direction my business is going. I still would love to have so many orders that I had to stop taking orders, but that day will come.... right now, I am just happy to have great customers who are nice, friendly, and above all, loyal.

It really means something when a customer is loyal. Not to say that you can't ever buy bows from someone else but the fact that they always come back for more and refer people is the best. I am working on a new thing that I will be doing called a "Bow of the Month Club". Once I have all the details worked out, I will post more.

Right now, I still have a few orders that I am working on. A couple of Halloween costumes and some back to school stuff. Then I will be starting on my Holiday items. So excited. Okay, I have SEVERAL different items that will be making their way to my website. So if you want to pre-order you can beginning March 22nd!
The first thing I have coming is just in time for Spring - Flip Flops! You have the choice of color and size of flip flop and then you can choose your color of ribbon and style of bow. You also have a choice of having the bow you choose be interchangeable or attached permanantly.
The next thing is I am changing my korker sizes to include a NEW mini size korker for infants. Pictures coming soon. So for updated sizes and prices please keep checking my website.
I also have new headbands that you can attach your bows to. Nylon ones - made from pantyhose material so they aren't tight around your little ones heads. Crochet ones - great for newborns, toddlers, and big girls alike. Then of course my Woven ones - great for toddlers, big girls, and hip moms. All can be customized.
Last but not least, I will be introducing a Doggie Bow line for those that have been asking. This won't be making it's appearance until sometime this summer. Just wanted to inform you.

Okay, I am working on headbands and ribbon sculptures… I am also trying to finish my website so that I can host my very first online bow party! This is something new for me and the best part – no one has to leave their home!! Isn’t that great! So if you want more info on that please let me know. Also if you want info on a home bow party I can let you know about that as well.

Going to be working on some inventory b/c I am going to be at the Sparkleberry Country Fair on April 24th!! Please come out and support me and buy something! Can’t wait to meet some new customers!!

Okay, I now that it has been a while since I have last posted... However, the new year is bringing a whole new chapter to this bow-making world for me. It's the Most Wonderful Time of the YEAR!!!

Yep, it's that time again, soon. I know we have to get through Thanksgiving first, but I am so excited about my Christmas bows. I have come a long way from my first halloween bows that I made to the ones I am making for Christmas. I know that it takes practice to get better and you can tell. The halloween ones were the first ones I made and while they are good, the recent ones I have made do look a little bit better. But they went to a good home.

I can't wait to see how many orders I have for the Christmas ones. As usual, you will be able to customize these. I have also tried a new technique. It is the double ribbon boutique bow. It is super cute!! Well, I hope you like it.

Merging Website into Blog

I am going to be closing my new website in the near future to put everything here. I have run into a problem with limitations of pictures that I can put on my website without having to pay for it and with here I can put as many on here as I want. So, I am sorry for any problems this may cause any of you but I am still a new business and want to make it easy for you to fully experience my products and site.

I have finally mastered the "Layered Bow". And I am so excited to share this with you. I made it to match one of Emmilie's dresses that she got from her Cousin. It is so cute. Well, hope you like it. This type is on a french barrette since it has the spikes and the surrounding bow. I am still working on the layered bow to go on an alligator clip. If you want me to try one for you, let me know. Ribbon Choices

Here is just a few of the ribbon choices you have to choose from. I will always be adding more so make sure to keep checking back. You can always ask for a certain ribbon if you don’t see anything you like. Thanks.

I use mainly Grosgrain ribbon to make all my bows. I line the alligator clips with 3/8" wide ribbon. I make the bows from 5/8" - 1 1/2" wide ribbons. The snap clips are covered with 1/4" wide ribbon. There are many color and design choices and here are just a few of them.
